As of July 1, the new European VAT rules will come into force in the European Union. The measure, specifically aimed at e-commerce, aims to simplify commercial procedures, reducing administrative burdens and reducing the gap between expected VAT and that charged in European Union member countries.

The VAT regulation of e-commerce has a direct impact on online merchants, digital platforms or “marketplaces”, postal operators, courier and transport companies and, of course, EU consumers.

For most operations, VAT on sales to final consumers is now taxed in the member state of destination, that is, invoices issued by the taxable person to a consumer will have to refer to the current VAT rate of the country of destination of the goods.

VAT amounts applied to customers are:

Portugal  23%
Spain  21%
France  20%

All prices of Paw Natural items contain the VAT of the end Consumer's country, which is recalculated at the end of the order.
